I get the idea that if I knew more about the Warhammer 40k universe, I would have found this information much more useful. And let’s not forget the Dramatis Personae, with a list of names and titles I was unsure of how to pronounce. The book starts a little jagged, with several quotes and a short scene where we get dialogue from a man named Hurtado Bronzi. With some extra Christmas money I had, I went online and bought the eBook. That is, until I heard how my failure to produce a review was injuring my friend both spiritually and physically. ![]() No book was produced for me, and I let it go. I said I would review the book, but I wouldn’t buy it. Tim had been trying to convince me to play Warhammer 40k for about a year at this point and I had been stoutly resisting. An d this is where my reluctance came in. This book is part of a series called the Horus Heresy, which deals with events in the Warhammer 40000 universe. Only one person took up my offer to review a book, my good friend Tim, who requested I review the book Legion by Dan Abnett. ![]()
